It’s the most terrible time of the year.
You may love the NFL Combine. You might like seeing how big, strong, and fast the next batch of professional football players are. I find it drab and boring. I tried to watch it when I was 16 and I ended up sleeping the entire time. Just wake me next week once it is all over and the official results are in. Then we can take that, watch the video, look at the stats, and evaluate these players.
If you are into the NFL Combine, however, it will be air live on NFL Network starting on Friday, March 2nd at 8 a.m. CST. You can also stream it at work on the NFL’s official app. We will have open threads during each position group’s workouts. Speaking of, here is the schedule for each position group at the Combine:
Friday, March 2nd at 8 a.m. CST: RB, OL, ST
Saturday, March 3rd at 8 a.m. CST: QB, WR, TE
Sunday, March 4th at 8 a.m. CST: DL, LB
Monday, March 5th at 8 a.m. CST: DB
As always, general managers and head coaches will be on the podium answering questions (sort of) for the masses. For your Houston Texans, Brian Gaine will be the first to go on. He will be on Podium 1 at 8 a.m. CST on Wednesday, February 28th (tomorrow). Bill O’Brien will meet with the media tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. CST.
If you miss the interviews live, don’t worry. We should have transcripts posted here after they’re done and links to the interview itself if we can’t embed them.
Enjoy playing arm chair general manager this week and following along here at BRB.
