After running for 269 yards on 39 carries, which comes out to 7.5 yards an attempt, Deshaun Watson is running again for the first time after a torn ACL robbed Texans fans of witnessing the remainder of what was a truly historic rookie season.
Officially day 1 of the 2018 NFL season today.. and today is officially my first day back running! Crazy how God works! Gotta have it ALL! ♠️ memo™️ 815 #Godspeed pic.twitter.com/so9u3InvnW

One day after the NFL season ends and Deshaun Watson begins to run again. Quite possibly on the same special treadmill J.J. Watt began to run on a few weeks ago. Beautiful.
Watson tore his ACL in practice following a heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks brought upon by Mike Vrabel’s insistence on running Cover Four when the Texans couldn’t run Cover Four. In a season plagued by injury, Watson going down was the one the Texans couldn’t recover from. It was the last dash that spoiled the soup. From that point on, the Texans won exactly one more game, at home over Blaine Gabbert and the Arizona Cardinals.
Soon enough, the ice melts, the flowers bloom, and summer starts to swelter. Watson will be back out there running on a football field instead of the hamster wheel, and doing things like this all over again.
