NFL free agency is set to begin today.
Well, kind of. Sort of. Today teams are allowed to contact and negotiate contracts with players, but they can’t officially sign anyone until the new league year begins on March 14th (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. CDT.
So today as you follow along with free agency, remember nothing is entirely official. It is only pretty much official. It won’t be real until Wednesday that these players given new contracts will actually have them.
In addition to this, there are other important aspects of team building happening. This table from NFL.com sums it up.

This is the itinerary. Follow along with free agency here at Battle Red Blog. We will have open threads and analysis all this week for your Houston Texans and the rest of the NFL in general.
