ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Houston Texans have claimed wide receiver Sammie Coates off waivers after the Cleveland Browns released him yesterday.

Coates has largely been bench depth throughout his career. He was drafted in the third round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015 out of Auburn, started five games for them in 2016, and was traded to the Browns just before the regular season began in 2017.
