It’s time for the final day of action from 2018 NFL Combine. All that’s left are the defensive backs.
For the DBs this year, it’s all about the safeties. Alabama once again is leading the pack with Minkah Fitzpatrick, an athletic puzzle piece who could line up at corner or at free safety in the NFL. After him, you have Derwin James from FSU and Ronnie Harrison of where else but Alabama, both of whom will look to provide defenses with flexible coverage pieces that can also be stout in the run game (*cough* Texans *cough*). For those looking at the cornerback class, the duel for top dog will be between two Big Ten corners in Iowa’s Joshua Jackson and Ohio State’s Denzel Ward.
Enjoy today’s action here with BRB in this open thread.
