Last season Taylor Heinicke played a half of football for the Texans. The Old Dominion product was soon bounced from the game from a concussion. He didn’t play again. Today, Heinicke was bounced from the Houston Texans. With quarterbacks Deshaun Watson, Brandon Weeden, and Joe Webb on the roster, the team released Heinicke to make room for former Patriots tight end Matt Lengel.

I don’t know anything about Lengel. All I know is the Texans need help at tight end. Lengel is a tight end. Maybe he does something in Houston.
The Texans’ PR account has some more information about this unknown newest member of the team.
