Houston Texans Have 2018’s Easiest Schedule

With the schedule release tonight, the Texans come in with the league’s lowest strength of schedule based on 2017 records.

With the schedule release coming tonight, a lot is up in the air.

The only sure things are the London games, the Lions and Cowboys hosting Thanksgiving games, and the Vikings heading to Philadelphia for the opening game of the 2018 NFL season on September 6th.

The Texans will head into 2018 facing the following opponents:

Home:

Jacksonville Jaguars

Tennessee Titans

Indianapolis Colts

Buffalo Bills

Miami Dolphins

Cleveland Browns

Dallas Cowboys

New York Giants

Away:

Jacksonville Jaguars

Tennessee Titans

Indianapolis Colts

New England Patriots

New York Jets

Denver Broncos

Philadelphia Eagles

Washington Redskins

Their opponents last year finished a combined 116-140, good enough for a .453 winning percentage in 2017. Although they’ll face both Super Bowl participants from a year ago and the 12-4 Jags twice, the Texans will face every team picking in the Top Six in next week’s NFL Draft.

Just another reason for optimism if you’re a Texans optimist.
