2018 NFL Free Agency News: Houston Texans Sign Joe Webb

The Texans finally did something again. They signed another quarterback. They signed Joe Webb!

He can also play wide receiver and special teams. Webb was drafted by Minnesota. He has since played for Carolina and Buffalo. He’s 31 years old. Webb has made four starts at quarterback in his entire NFL career, including one playoff game. He went 11-30 for 180 yards in that game. LOL.

Over his career, Webb has 888 passing yards, 326 rushing yards, and 61 receiving yards. Here are some more FUN facts about the Texans’ newest quarterback:

The deal is for one year and $1.015 million, according to Mike Lombardi.

For those clamoring for an athletic backup to kind of sort of replicate Deshaun Watson, here’s your man. For those clamoring for a competent backup quarterback, you gotta keep clamoring.
