Saturday Night’s Alright For Commenting: 5/19/2018

Hello, good evening, and welcome to the middle-ish part of May. I am currently hiding in an undisclosed location in my house as certain elements of my household have been absorbing every last bit of royal wedding coverage and there’s only so much I can take before I want to start throwing tea into a nearby harbor.

In the meantime, I have also been working on a new idea for this year’s burger experimentation project which I undertake every summer (or more simply just call BurgerLab). The Japanese-themed burger which I created, while awesome and delicious, did not get selected in favor of some [seriously deleted] who basically made coconut shrimp with chili sauce into a burger. No, I do not hold a grudge about this, why do you ask?

In truth, I think I ran into problems with the ingredients being hard to come by in a “well-stocked supermarket” since it relies primarily on stuff you can get only at an Asian supermarket. This year I think I might have one that would not require trips to three different stores, but I have to come up with a recipe first.

Anyway, between that and watching old episodes of a British sitcom from the 70s called “Dad’s Army,” that’s all I’ve been up to lately.
