The Texans play ten home games every year, including the preseason. That’s not a lot, Bob. When they do play at home, they make the most out of it by celebrating that week with a different theme. You know, it’s kind of like in high school where you stomp out the scorpions all week, and everyone wears big boots. It’s like that, but instead it’s pink gloves and camouflage sideline jackets.
This year, the Texans’ themes are as follows:
Aug. 18 San Francisco 49ers: State of Football
Aug. 30 Dallas Cowboys: Texans Care
Sept. 23 New York Giants: Liberty White Out
Oct. 7 Dallas Cowboys: Pink Ribbon Day/NFL Crucial Catch
Oct. 14 Buffalo Bills: Battle Red Day
Oct. 25 Miami Dolphins: Homecoming
Nov. 26 Tennessee Titans: Salute to Service
Dec. 2 Cleveland Browns: Deep Steel Sunday
Dec. 9, Indianapolis Colts: Kids Day – A Celebration of PLAY 60
Dec. 30, Jacksonville Jaguars: Fan Appreciation Day
