Saturday Night’s Alright For Commenting: July 28, 2018

Take off your pants and jacket. It’s S.N.O.T. time.

MLB: Texas Rangers at Houston Astros John Glaser-USA TODAY Sports

I’ve lived three hours from Houston for the majority of my life, and not once, not never, have I been to an Astros game. I thought it was hilarious Minute Maid Park was first called Enron Field. I’ve seen it. I’ve walked past it. And now, finally, tomorrow, I will get to go out to Houston and see my boyz play the Astros in Houston.

I’ll be watching Texas lose to a better baseball team, and the entire time I’ll complain about the air conditioner. I’ll end every conversation with, ““Yeah, but the Astros tanked.” I’ll talk about how the tanking helped Texas pad their record to make the postseason, and I’ll bring up 2015 and 2016.

Yes, the ring counts. Whatever. I don’t even care anymore. I like the Rangers now purely as an aesthetic summertime experience. The ceiling fan. Eric Nadel on the radio while I drive to play basketball. Win, lose, whatever, I’m excited for tomorrow and to knock another ballpark off the list.

Anyways, that’s all I got. Give me something to do after the Texas-Houston game is over tomorrow. Sound off in the comments below to discuss whatever. Just remember the standard commenting rules apply.
