Where Were You When The Texans Played Their First Regular Season Game?

I mean, it WAS pretty memorable.

This week, SB Nation has charged its NFL sites with asking fans about a memorable moment in team history via the tried and true “Where Where You When...” method. Naturally, there are a number of ways to go about this when it comes to your Houston Texans.

I thought about inquiring about where members of our fine community were when the Texans clinched their first playoff berth or their first playoff victory (both against the Bengals, as a matter of fact). I thought about being morbid and referencing any number of cringe-inducing specific plays or disastrous signings.

But with the Cowboys on the schedule this year, I reckon it’d be more fun to ask where everyone was when the Texans, in the first regular season game in franchise history, in front of a national audience on Sunday Night Football, shocked Jerry Jones, Dave Campo, Quincy Carter & Co. by embarrassing “America’s Team.”

So...where were you when the Texans played their first regular season game? What do you remember about that glorious evening?
