Webster joins a cornerback unit in desperate need of veteran help. Kevin Johnson was concussed earlier in the preseason and Johnathan Joseph is entering his age-34 season.
Webster spent his first four seasons with the Broncos, earning a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl 50. Last season, he started 11 games for the Rams before injuring his Achilles in Week 14. In his career, Webster has 98 tackles and two interceptions.
He was released by the Rams in April after failing a physical and has been looking for a new team since. Now, he’s found a home with the Texans.
Welcome to Houston, Kayvon Webster!
UPDATE: Aaron Wilson has the terms of Webster’s contract with Houston.
