Today is January 11th. Tomorrow is January 12th. When tomorrow arrives, the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs will pop off. Colts and Chiefs, Cowboys and Rams, Chargers and Patriots, and Eagles and Saints. What a joyous weekend it will be.
There’s one team missing from that list. The Houston Texans. They lost last weekend. Their season is over. You may be despondent and down, rummaging around the landfill and taking shots of leachate over it. You may already be dreaming of seeing Deshaun Watson sling passes to DeAndre Hopkins, or of J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney partnering up to unleash abhorrent devastation.
If you are already in full on offseason mood, here’s your calendar. Week One of the 2019 NFL regular season begins on Thursday, September 5th, with the games that weekend starting on Sunday, September 8th. This is what you have to suffer through to see the Texans play again.
