In 2015, free safety Rahim Moore was the prized free agent in the Class of 2015.

In 2019, Moore is now the third-leading tackler for the top team in the Western Conference in the American Alliance of Football.

The Arizona Hotshots improved to 2-0 after a 20-18 comeback victory on Saturday on the road against the Memphis Express.

Moore recorded three tackles in the contest, tied for fourth on the squad.

Moore’s Hotshots are one of three 2-0 teams in the league, with Nick Novak’s Birmingham Iron and Akeem Hunt’s Orlando Apollos also undefeated.

Birmingham notched a 12-9 victory over the Salt Lake Stallions, but Novak did not split the uprights. The team scored two touchdowns and missed on their two-point conversions.

One rule that separates the AAF from other professional football leagues is that teams must go for two points rather than one.

Hunt’s Apollos remained at the top of the league in scoring with a 37-29 win over the San Antonio Commanders thanks to 17 unanswered fourth quarter points.

Hunt recorded one catch for 12 yards and ran the ball twice for -4 yards.

Next Saturday, Arizona heads to Salt Lake on to face the Stallions and Orlando hosts the Memphis Express.

On Sunday, Birmingham heads to Atlanta for a battle with the winless Legends.
