NOTES:

  • DeAndre Hopkins and Deshaun Watson got their first action of the preseason in Game #2. Watson played one drive, going 5/7 with 60 yards and a touchdown to his top target DeAndre Hopkins from four yards out.
  • Whitney Mercilus forced a fumble on his first play Saturday night, which shows signs that he is ready to have a monster 2019!
  • Buddy Howell might have found a new home as the Texans’ RB3. The RB was primarily used on special teams last season but lead the team in RB snaps, carries and rushing yards on Saturday night with 84 yards on 15 carries. He also scored on a 1-yard touchdown in the 4th quarter that put the Texans out of reach.
