2019 NFL Mock Draft: Houston Texans Select...

Offensive tackles. Defensive backs. The only question is who?

NCAA Football: Florida at Tennessee Bryan Lynn-USA TODAY Sports

Football never stops. While four teams in the league are still playing, the rest are flipping over stones and opening drawers to upgrade their team. For the Houston Texans, this means upgrading the secondary, offensive line, and finding interior rushers, among other things. This will be the primarily focus as we look through potential free agents and cuts, and read mock drafts.

In his latest mock draft, SB Nation’s Dan Kader sent an offensive tackle to Houston. Jawaan Taylor, to be exact.

This is what Dan had to say:

23. Houston Texans: Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

This pick absolutely needs to be a cornerback or offensive tackle. Finding a blocker for Deshaun Watson should have a priority unless someone like Murphy happens to slip to No. 23. Taylor is a powerful blocker who can drive defenders backward with ease.
