The 2019 NFL Trade Deadline is today. Teams have until 3 p.m. CDT to make trades and exchange mid-round draft picks for players that won’t help them at all.
I’m sorry. That’s too negative, I mean, find the missing ingredients to their Super Bowl souffle.
The Texans have scant draft capital to move, but they have Will Fuller, the always injured deep threat who had his fifth-year option picked up for next year; Keke Coutee, who sat and watched while DeAndre Carter was out there last week; and even rookie Kahale Warring, injured and in Bill O’Brien’s doghouse, all available to exchange. Although O’Brien said the Texans probably aren’t interested in a half-season rental, who knows at this point? He may just be playing cute and coy to temper expectations.
Regardless, the Texans could use pass rush and corner back help, just like every team in the league. Follow today’s trades LIVE here at Battle Red Blog. Please post the newest trade news in the comments below. Everyone is a journalist.
