Every Monday evening, the Texans make a couple of roster moves to set everything up for the upcoming game. This week, it’s been pretty quiet. There was no Mike Adams signing that’s going to prove monumental against the Kansas City Chiefs. Instead, general manager Bill O’Brien released linebacker Xavier Woodson-Luster from Injured Reserve.

Despite speculation to the contrary, nothing changed with Houston’s special teams after Kai’imi Fairbairn missed field goals and extra points and DeAndre Carter dropped a punt to put the Falcons back in the game. All O’Brien had to say was Fairbairn needs to make his kicks.
Bill O'Brien on Ka'imi Fairbairn missing two extra points, said he's had enough time with new holder Bryan Anger: 'He's got to make the kicks.' Predicts he will improve.— Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) October 7, 2019
Carter will watch the film and get better.
Bill O'Brien on DeAndre Carter decision-making: 'I'm not concerned about DeAndre Carter at all. He made a couple poor decisions. He'll learn from it. He'll see it on tape. He works very hard. He's got to get back in there. I know he'll do better the next time.'— Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) October 7, 2019
The Texans play the Chiefs at 12 p.m. this Sunday. We will be here all week until then.
