The Texans haven’t made any BIG moves. Just a lot of little ones to keep the players they already have around. In addition to keeping all their mediocre defensive linemen except for Christian Covington, the Texans extended qualifying offers to Brandon Dunn, Ka’imi Fairbairn, and Brennan Scarlett.
The Houston #Texans have re-signed DE Angelo Blackson, WR DeAndre Carter (@DCarter_2) and DE Joel Heath (@Joel_Heath92).

The team also extended qualifying offers to NT Brandon Dunn, K Ka'imi Fairbairn and OLB Brennan Scarlett (@BScarlett17).
Dunn played a bunch of nose tackle after they moved D.J. Reader to defensive end.

Fairbairn didn’t miss a kick less than 40 yards, and Houston was actually really good on kickoffs this season for the first time in forever.
#Texans give $3.095 million restricted free agent second-round tender to kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn.

Scarlett had that one game against the Washington Redskins, and that was about it. Maybe this is finally his year.

I really don’t see a team coming in and trying to pry any of these players away. Expect for every one of them to play for the Texans come 2019.
