2019 NFL Free Agency Open Thread: Day Two

Tampering day two.

Yesterday so many things happened. The Texans kept three of their four whatever defensive linemen Joel Heath, Angelo Blackson, and Brandon Dunn; they extended qualifying tenders to Brennan Scarlett, Ka’imi Fairbairn, and Dunn; they resigned DeAndre Carter to a one-year contract, and most importantly, they lost Tyrann Mathieu to the Kansas City Chiefs for $14 million a year. That was just in one day.

Today the Texans hit the phones again and speak to agents. They have to decide if they want to bring Kareem Jackson back or find a different safety, if they want to upgrade at guard, if they want to grab some wide receiver depth, or go out and pay big for an interior rusher or cornerback.

Here’s the open thread for day two of free agency. It will be updated throughout the day, and is your space to discuss today’s moves.

The Texans did a thing! Welcome CB Bradley Roby to YOUR Houston Texans.
