Saturday Night’s Alright For Commenting: (3/30/2019)

Good evening. It’s cloudy. The lights have been on all afternoon. Another spring weekend where that magical wheel landed once again on crappy, where the big sun, blue skies, and open flowers are masked by wind, drizzle, and terror.

I’m indoors. I’m listening to baseball. It’s Edison Volquez. v. Yu Darvish. I spent a few years of the mid 2000s watching and hoping that Volquez would become the first good Ranger pitcher since Kenny Rodgers. They of course traded him for Josh Hamilton. Won two pennants. Lost the big game each time. I also spent the beginning portion of this decade placing hopes and dreams in Darvish’s pocket after 2011’s loss. Watching hundreds of strike outs. Seething v. Toronto. Usually he missed and nibbled in the postseason. A game like 15 years in the making is going ton tonight. It took me three months to get excited for baseball season, and now I just wish I hadn’t.

Anyways, this is your open thread to discuss whatever. Baseball, the upcoming NFL Draft and fiesta, spring plans, whatever. We’ll be back on Monday.
