This is that time of year where the world is constantly turning to bring better and beautiful things every weekend. It’s that tradition where I say to myself, “You know what, this maybe my favorite time of year,” every weekend, until the fall ends and it gets dark early and everything sucks again. Now is the time to read The Sound and The Fury and put your consciousness into the head of someone else’s in right before Easter, to learn about Geology and dinosaurs and think about how old the Earth is and how much it has changed, read Mary Oliver poetry, listen to The Hotelier’s Goodness, Turnover’s Good Nature, Turnstile’s Time and Space, and go for runs and breathe it all in, and crack oneself open and let it all come seeping and running out of your ears.
ALSO, there’s a new PUP album. Listen to it. It rules. It’s loud and fast and melodic. Kids should be the background song to the cut scene that breaks out when you turn on a NHL video game.
Anyways, that’s all I got. It’s your time to talk about whatever it is you want to talk about: the upcoming NFL Draft, favorite flowers, Fiesta plans, block parties, and Jadeveon Clowney’s upcoming contract extension.
