First there’s free agency, then there’s the NFL Draft, then there’s rookie minicamp, and then there’s organized team activities. The Texans begin their activities this week, and will sporadically run through them until the mandatory minicamp begins June 11th to June 13th, and then training camp will begin. Their OTAs will be on May 20-21, May 23, May 28-30, June 3-4 and June 6-7.
At OTAs the Texans can complete actual 11 v. 11 drills, and at OTAs the Texans will start sorting through their offensive line, look around and miss Jadeveon Clowney, try to mold Deshaun Watson into a pocket passer against his will, test out Keke Coutee’s hamstring, keep J.J. Watt on the sideline, see if the secondary additions are improvements or more of the same, and finally see AJ McCarron’s prison tattoos in person.
We’ve never left our parents’ basements, and have never felt the sun. We won’t be there, but we, at BRB, will tell you what they say and report what they report to keep you updated on the Texans as we march further and further into the sun.
