The Texans are on vacation until training camps begin. After the completion of mandatory minicamp they are out doing whatever they want. School is out forever until training camp begins on Thursday July 25th. As mentioned before on here, the Texans will have open practices on
- Thursday, August 1st
- Saturday, August 3rd
- Saturday, August 10th
- Sunday, August 11th
- Wednesday, August 14th
- Thursday, August 15th
and the last two will be against the Lions as each team tries to out Patriots one another.
Houston will also be participating in joint practices against the Green Bay Packers on Monday, August 5th and Tuesday, August 6th right before the two teams play in their preseason opening game against one another on Thursday, August 8th.
This is good for Houston. They play so many great quarterbacks and offenses this year. The new additions in the secondary, and every pass rusher aside from J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney needs all the reps they can to prepare for this obscene slate this season. The Packers are also going to have a great pass rush this season too, perfect for Houston’s unknown offensive line.
Football. It will be back here soon enough.
