The dates have already been announced for the Houston Texans’ open practices. They will have five of them Aug. 1, Aug. 3, Aug. 10, Aug. 14 and Aug. 15 and the last two will take place against the Detroit Lions as each team tries to out New England one another. Parking opens at 5:00 a.m., the gates open at 8:15 a.m., and the practices will begin at 9:10 a.m. The practices will take place at the team’s training facility, The Methodist Training Center.

From the team’s website “Winning fans will be notified via email on Friday, July 26 and provided with two tickets per person, per practice. Limited bleacher seating is available at each practice session and is first come first serve. There will be no reserved seats.”
Additionally, this year’s training camp will have the following:
—Exclusive opportunity for autographs from the Houston Texans Cheerleaders, Texans Ambassadors and TORO
—Inflatables and gameday activations including the Chevron STEM Challenge, corn-hole and so much more
—Live band performance every day
—Local food trucks and beverages served to those of age
Training camp begins Thursday July 25th, which means next week, and the team’s first preseason game will be August 8th in Green Bay against the Packers.
