Report: Texans Have Agreed To Trade Jadeveon Clowney To Seahawks

Jay Glazer is reporting that the Texans and Seahawks have agreed to the terms of a trade that will result in Jadeveon Clowney heading to Seattle.

Note that Glazer is not yet reporting who or what the Texans are receiving from Seattle in the deal and that physicals still have to be passed, but I would note that Aaron Wilson, who is plugged in to the Texans, tweeted this less than an hour ago:

Now, again...this isn’t confirmed and should be treated as purely speculation, but how would you feel about getting Justin Britt, Germain Ifedi, and a 2020 second rounder for Jadeveon Clowney?

UPDATE: It would seem the return for Clowney doesn’t include a second round pick. I’ll wait to see who the two players are, but I don’t currently see a way this represents good value for the Texans.

UPDATE II: This keeps looking worse for the Texans. The two players coming to Houston from Seattle in the trade aren’t even offensive linemen. They’re linebackers. In the words of Sheila Broflovski, what the what?

UPDATE IV: Surely someone is pulling Aaron Wilson’s leg. Barkevious Mingo, Jacob Martin, and a third round pick for Jadeveon Freaking Clowney?
