Last week, Deshaun Watson went into Los Angeles to play shootout against the Chargers. At the end of it, he stood upright and grimacing, while Philip Rivers laid smoldering. Rivers was unable to do what other quarterbacks had done previously—ruining a great Watson performance with a comeback of their own. Watson completed 25 of his 34 attempts for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also picked up 18 yards on 7 carries. This is a happy place. No one mention that hilarious and strange fumble on Houston’s first offensive series.
As a reward for his efforts, Watson was named AFC Offensive Player Of The Week.
That's our quarterback.
