Tomorrow night, the 2020 NFL Draft begins. For the first time ever, it’ll be conducted remotely, with each of the league’s 32 teams making selections from different sites. While your Houston Texans currently aren’t slated to make their first selection until Friday night, this is what you need to know to track this year’s festivities:
WHEN: Thursday, April 23rd, beginning at 7 p.m. CDT (First Round); Friday, April 24th, beginning at 6 p.m. CDT (Second & Third Rounds); and Saturday, April 25th, beginning at 11 a.m. CDT (Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Rounds).
TELEVISION BROADCAST: ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network.
RADIO BROADCAST: ESPN Radio.
ONLINE STREAMING: NFL.com, ESPN.com, and fuboTV.
TIME BETWEEN PICKS: 10 minutes (Round One); 7 minutes (Round Two); 5 minutes (Rounds Three through Six); and 4 minutes (Round Seven).
Here at BRB, we’ll have posts for each Texans selection or (gasp!) trade, plus open threads for each round. When the draft is finally over, we’ll get a post up listing every selection made by Bill O’Brien & Co., followed by a post tracking all the undrafted rookie free agent chatter and signings.
It’s going to be quite a weekend, and it all gets started tomorrow (Thursday) night.
