The Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs are kicking the old football around at 2:05 p.m. CST today. Hot doggy. After learning earlier in the week that Will Fuller is set to play, and that Jordan Akins and Jahleel Addae didn’t make the flight because of reasons totally unrelated to alarm clock malfunctions, none of the rest of the Texans’ list of Inactives today is too surprising.

No Jordan Akins means more Jordan Thomas, who pretty much has had a lost season to this point. Carlos Watkins our means J.J. Watt is a three down defensive lineman and is going to play a ton, with him, Angelo Blackson, and D.J. Reader as Houston’s base defense. No Jahleel Addae means free safety, GULP, Mike Adams. And Keke Coutee is out from under the doghouse today. Maybe he finally does something this season.
The Chiefs won’t have the following players in uniform this afternoon:
Here are the #Chiefs’ seven inactives for today’s game vs #Texans:

CB Morris Claiborne
DL Chris Jones
OL Jackson Barton
QB Chad Henne
OL Andrew Wylie
OL Ryan Hunter
LB Darron Lee
Andrew Wylie and Darron Lee saw the bench earlier this season. Morris Claiborne has been BAD bad in Kansas City.
And of course, the BIG news is that Chris Jones is out. Get ready for a lot of Khalen Saunders, Tanoh Kpassagnon, and Mike Pennel.
