Since he became head coach of your Houston Texans, Romeo Crennel is 1-2. That one win? It came against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who just so happen to be this week’s opponent.
Those Jaguars will be starting a rookie quarterback who has never started an NFL game before. Kudos to Jacksonville for truly leaning into the chase for Trevor Lawrence; I applaud both their logic and their devotion to the cause.
The Texans, however, are not laying down when it comes to tanking trying to help the Dolphins get a better draft pick in the first and second rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft. Houston will be without the services of several of their linebackers thanks to COVID-19, so a defense that has been impotent at full strength will likely be even more flaccid than usual.
Texans! Jaguars! Someone literally has no choice but to improve to 2-6! Here’s how to tune in!
