So hello, how are y’all this fine-ish Saturday? Good! Glad to hear it!
If you’re at all interested in space and looking at faraway objects through a telescope, I thought you might be interested to know that on Monday night, Jupiter and Saturn will be the closest they’ve been to Earth in 800 years. Think about that. The last time these two planets were this close, we still had a Holy Roman Empire (of which Frederick II was crowned ruler of in 1220), Genghis Khan was storming through Central Asia on his way to creating the largest land empire on earth. The Estonians defeated the Swedes in the Battle of Lihula. How could you possibly forget the Battle of Lihula?
Anyway, the next time these two planets will be this close will be another 800 years from now. You’ll only get one chance to see them this close. Make it count, because you probably won’t make it to 2820, where Sleezok will blog about this year and ask what the heck we were thinking.
This is your SNOT to talk about anything and everything on your mind, Texans-related or not. Enjoy your Saturday night...if you dare, bwahahahahahahahahaha!
There—there should have been a lightning sound effect there. Crap. Anyway, get to talking!
