The Texans made a couple of coaching staff decisions after the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. They fired outside linebackers coach John Pagano. Defensive backs coach Anthony Midget left for Tennessee. They promoted defensive line coach Anthony Weaver to defensive coordinator, and placed Romeo Crennel in an advisory role of some sort.
Houston has made a decision to fill one of their coaching vacancies. They hired Chris Rumph, the University of Tennessee Volunteers outside linebacker coach, and co-defensive coordinator, to take, what is presumed to be, the Texans’ outside linebacker coaching position.
