Rumors are swirling that the Detroit Lions are shopping their best defender, three-time Pro Bowler Darius Slay. While the Texans seemingly aren’t in a position of strength to trade for anyone, given their lack of draft capital, a player like Slay should instantly be a target for Bill O’Brien and newly minted defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
Lions have spoken with multiple teams about a potential trade for Pro Bowl CB Darius Slay, per sources. Any team that trades for Slay would have to compensate Detroit and Slay with a new deal. Other teams believe Slay will be traded this off-season, but Lions adamant on value.

Slay has played in 103 career games, starting 94 of them. He’s racked up 19 interceptions for 265 yards, 104 passes defensed, and 296 solo tackles. Having Slay on the Texans would go a long way toward elevating the play of the entire defensive backfield.
Denver Broncos Chris Harris Jr. is also rumored to be hitting free agency. If the Texans could somehow pull off acquisitions of Slay and Harris, the 2020 secondary would look vastly superior to the one they fielded in 2019.
What would you give up for Slay? How about Harris? Not interested in either? Let us know.
