There’s a lot soup in this kitchen. Will Fuller, Kenny Stills, Randall Cobb, David Johnson, DeAndre Carter, Duke Johnson, Jordan Akins, Jordan Thomas, Kahale Warring, Darren Fells, and now Brandin Cooks. This is the Texans’ current stable of pass catchers since Houston traded the 57th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft to the Rams for Cooks and a 2022 4th round selection.

In this episode, Matt and BFD explore every crevice of the Brandin Cooks trade. Topics include Cooks’ skill set, what happened to him in 2019, where he fits in Houston’s offense, whether this is a trade before another trade, the stipulations of Cooks’ remaining contract, and whether Houston made the right decision turning DeAndre Hopkins into Cooks, David Johnson, and moving up 17 spots in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Let’s start the show.
