After DeAndre Hopkins was traded, after the first wave of free agency ended, the Houston Texans were quiet. No one was around to discuss the reasoning behind the trade, or the decisions to sign Randall Cobb and Eric Murray. NRG Park was on proverbial fire as fans stood outside (virtually) and made a lot of noise.

Then, last Friday, they finally spoke. Not to the media, not in a statement, but as a corporate conference call between Marc Vandermeer, Cal McNair, Bill O’Brien, and Jack Easterby.

On today’s show, Matt Weston and BFD break down the Texans’ conference call and try to decipher what the Texans’ team building strategy is. Topics include that little bug sweeping the world, skyping and zooming, T.E.A.M., being tough smart and dependable, when the NFL season is won, and how great people and great processes create great results.

Let’s hop on the conference call and start the show.
