The 2020 NFL Offseason is pretty much over. It’s time to hang out and safely enjoy the sun until season previews are published and training camps open up (if they ever do it all). The Texans have re-signed their own players, they’ve made trades, they sifted through free agency, they completed the 2020 NFL Draft, and I’m still perplexed by what they were trying to accomplish.
To find some greater clarity, to discover what the plan truly was, or if there was even a plan at all, Rivers McCown and BFD hopped on the podcast to review the Texans’ overall offseason and search for some deeper meaning. Topics include the need for speed, if hearts have changed since the DeAndre Hopkins trade, what Tim Kelly and Anthony Weaver add to the team, which defensive prayer is most likely to be answered, how Houston fits in the rest of the AFC South, and most importantly, the joys of watching Deshaun Watson.
