Hair of the Dog: More of the Same Edition - Texans/Steelers

Seven years.

Seven years of the Bill O’Brien offense.

And not once...

...has the coach with the innovative offense...

...with total control over personnel...

...with Deshaun Watson under center...

...cracked the Top Ten in total offense. And with three games in the books, we have enough data to see that this is the offense we’re on pace for in 2020:

This is not acceptable. There’s little proof that Bill O’Brien has what it takes to turn this offense, which again he built and shaped the entire team to execute, into the offense we’ve been waiting for lo these many years.

I just have nothing left to say about Bill O’Brien that hasn’t already been said a half a million times, and really I’m tired of repeating myself. Next week the Texans face the Vikings, which doesn’t elicit a ton of optimism in me, frankly.

But enough about next week. Let’s relive the fun(?) from Sunday’s game against the Steelers.
