In the aftermath of Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, your Houston Texans are making some roster moves. The Texans signed C.J. Prosise to the active roster and sent safety A.J. Moore to the injured reserve.

Losing Moore definitely hurt the Texans on Sunday, as we had to see Eric Murray get burnt on more than a few plays. However, this has led to speculation about a potential new addition to the team.
Former Ravens’ S Earl Thomas is in Houston now and his “signing this week is more likely than not”, per a source. Before he signs, he has to first pass COVID protocols.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and this is certainly a move that BOB could have a hard time swallowing. If Earl Thomas III does sign with Houston, it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. I don’t think I need to remind anyone of how the last former great Ravens safety fared here.
Also, signing Prosise to the active squad has some interesting implications. Maybe Duke Johnson Jr. isn’t quite ready to go yet. While Duke’s ankle is healing, Prosise may have to split the load with David Johnson.
In other roster moves, the Texans added two new defensive tackles to the practice squad in Ryan Glasgow and Cory Liuget.
Any reaction to one or more of these roster shuffles?
