Your Houston Texans cut their starting center a week ago. Earlier today, they signed the guy who’ll likely replace Nick Martin.
The #Texans have signed former #Seahawks center Justin Britt to a 1-year deal worth $3.2 million, source said, with a chance to make $5 million. Britt announced the signing on IG. pic.twitter.com/D1QXPRvnwO

Justin Britt tore his ACL halfway through the 2019 season and was cut by the Seahawks the following offseason. Despite working out for a few teams before and during the 2020 season, Britt didn’t sign with anyone and therefore did not play at all in 2020. Now Britt has found work in Houston on a one-year deal, where he’ll presumably step in for Martin as the signal-caller on Houston’s offensive line. Your thoughts? Is Britt an upgrade over Martin or at least a roughly laterally talented and cheaper hire?
