Before I type anything else, please allow me to wish you and yours a very happy Easter. You probably didn’t come to BRB for those glad tidings, however, so please be further advised that your Houston Texans are keeping Roderick Johnson around for the 2021 season on a one-year deal.

The Texans picked Johnson up off waivers back in 2018 and he’s been with the organization since. You might recall Bill O’Brien’s odd decision to non-tender Johnson last offseason, only to re-sign him a couple of days later. Johnson has been a serviceable to good swing/backup tackle in Houston, so keeping him around for another year is a wise move.

With that, I return you to your weekend. Enjoy the day.
