The Houston Texans’ neverending head coaching search continues. The team has had or will have second interviews Jim Caldwell, Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, and Ravens assistant head coach David Culley. It’s believed Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy will also get a second interview, but that has not been scheduled and could be subject to change. The process is infinite and indefinite.
Looking through the tea leaves, it seems like either Frazier or Bieniemy is going to get the job. Supposedly both coaches are calling around about putting together a potential coaching staff for the Houston job. Frazier, having lost in the AFC Championship Game, is reportedly interviewing today, while Bieniemy is heading back to the Super Bowl and unable to participate at the moment. If Houston was going to hire someone like Caldwell, they had the chance and should have hired him by now. The pool cue has been snapped in half. It looks it’s come down to Frazier or Bieniemy.
So, I ask you a very simple question: Which head coach candidate do you prefer? Eric Bieniemy or Leslie Frazier?
