The Bill O’Brien era still has fingers.

Most wanted, and most though the Texans would clean house entirely after Bill O’Brien was fired. Instead the Texans have kept a few stragglers here in Houston. Offensive coordinator Tim Kelly, running backs coach Danny Barrett, inside linebackers coach Danny King will now coach the defensive line, and now two assistant coaches, defensive assistant Deon Broomfield, and offensive assistant DeNarius McGhee, will stay in Houston, and survive the regime change.

The Texans have their major position group coaches, and coordinators in place. Nick Caserio have constructed nearly the entirety of their staff. All they have left are the minor roles. The Texans should announce their entire coaching staff officially shortly.
