Jaguars, Titans, Colts Donate $100,000 To Houston Relief

Sometimes it goes beyond football.

On Wednesday, James Palmer of NFL.com reported that the Jaguars, Titans, and Colts would donate $100,000 towards Houston relief following the winter storm that plagued the city last week.

In the wake of last week’s storm, Houston residents are dealing with burst pipes and insanely high electric bills. Some folks spent the entire week without power or water, and unfortunately some did not survive the cold.

It certainly is a sweet gesture of our division rivals to donate this money in order to help Houstonians get back on their feet. For all the grief and mud that gets slung between rival sports franchises, times like these show that we are all in it together at the end of the day. God bless the AFC South.

If you’d like to donate, you can contribute at this link. Donations will go towards assisting folks with housing repairs and temporary housing, among other things.
