Adam Schefter reported that free agent CB Desmond King has signed a one-year contract worth up to $6 million with your Houston Texans.
Former Titans and Chargers CB Desmond King to the Texans on a one-year, $3.5 million deal, per @DrewJRosenhaus.

King is entering his fifth year in the league after stints with the Chargers and Titans. While with the Chargers, King had solid production through hauling in four INTs, two forced fumbles, 8.5 sacks, and 268 tackles. When in Tennessee, he seemed to have a drop-off in production, with only 31 tackles and five games started.
Due to that past history of production, King walks in as quite possibly the best cornerback on Houston’s roster. He and Bradley Roby play similar positions, so it remains to be seen if we’ll see the duo in the defensive backfield this season or if Roby is on the way out. Regardless, this is handily the best signing that new GM Nick Caserio has made so far.
How do you feel about this signing? Would reforming the secondary help alleviate some concerns with our pass rush entering this season? Let us know down below.
