In a beautiful twist of fate, the Houston Texans are expected to re-sign Jon Weeks after informing him his time in Houston had come to an end about two weeks ago.

Weeks is the franchise leader in games played; he surpassed Andre Johnson in that regard last season. Weeks’ departure rustled the fan base as many couldn’t see why the team would cut such a consistent player.
The @HoustonTexans informed @jonweeks46--who has never had a bad snap in 11 seasons and made significantly less money than others at his position around the league--that they're better off without him.

Poverty. Ass. Franchise.
The team had Anthony Kukwa on the roster to fill his shoes. Well, it seems that was just too tall of a task, as Kukwa was cut in a corresponding move. Maybe it was negative PR. Maybe Kukwa couldn’t hang. Maybe there was a call upstairs. Maybe Jack Easterby missed Weeks’ smile. Whatever the reason, Weeks is back, and the Texans have their longest tenured player still in uniform.
How you feel about the GOAT coming back to redeem this franchise? Are you excited to see Weeks continue long snapping in the way that only he can?
