It looks like Aaron Rodgers is getting his man. After a few days of speculation, it seems Randall Cobb is heading back to Green Bay.
The #Packers indeed are working on a trade with the #Texans to bring WR Randall Cobb back to Green Bay. A reunion in the making with old friend Aaron Rodgers. https://t.co/3EfcARaJ1B

Cobb spent his first eight seasons with the Packers and was a favorite target of Rodgers. This past season, Cobb played in ten games and notched 38 catches for 441 yards for the Texans.
Over the weekend, Nick Caserio traded for Former Bears slot WR Anthony Miller. This could be seen as a preemptive move to prepare for Cobb’s departure.
Caserio being to offload Cobb’s contract will be a gold star on his grade sheet for this offseason. As Lance Zierlein reported, it’s a big pill to swallow to appease Rodgers.
On Randall Cobb's contract given by O'Brien and Easterby "It's one of the worst contracts I've ever seen"

In terms of on-field impact, this will allow for a solid competition between Miller and Keke Coutee for the team’s slot spot. For Coutee, this may be his last and best chance at securing a spot with the Texans this offseason.
Cobb is reunited with his first love and we’re relieved of his contract, what’s not to love? This post will be updated when we have the official haul. Let us know how you feel in the comments!
UPDATE:
The #Packers are trading a 2022 sixth-round pick to the #Texans for WR Randall Cobb, source said. Houston is also expected to pay $3 million of Cobb’s salary to facilitate the deal. Aaron Rodgers gets his man.
