Last week, we didn’t have our own usual episode of Battle Red Radio, reviewing the Texans loss to the Carolina Panthers. The reason for it is simple. Battle Red Blog was invited to join the Turn Up for Watt podcast to discuss last Thursday’s loss to Carolina, and we weren’t going to do the same podcast twice. In case you forgot, the Texans loss 24-9 after Houston failed to shut down Carolina’s offense even once in the second half.
Euan and I talked about the loss, including Davis Mills’ first start, Brandin Cooks’ workload, whether Houston can get a real look at Mills by opening up the playbook, the holes in Lovie Smith’s defense, Zach Cunningham being really bad back at his natural position of Will linebacker, Houston’s pass rush configuration, if there are any future building blocks on this current roster, and what to expect from Josh Allen this weekend.
