Texans vs. Browns injury report: multiple starters ruled OUT

The Houston Texans defeated the Tennessee Titans last weekend with a multitude of starters out, including star quarterback C.J Stroud.

The Texans have a monster game this weekend against the Cleveland Browns in Houston. Here is a look at Friday’s injury report:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

  • Quarterback C.J Stroud (Concussion) OUT
  • Defensive End Will Anderson Jr. (Ankle) OUT
  • Linebacker Blake Cashman (Hamstring) OUT

LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

  • Defensive Tackle Maliek Collins (Hip) QUESTIONABLE
  • Linebacker Denzel Perryman (Achilles ) QUESTIONABLE
  • Wide Receiver Nico Collins (Calf) QUESTIONABLE

FULL PARTICIPATION:

  • Wide Receiver Noah Brown (Knee)
  • Right Tackle George Fant (Hip)
  • Tight End Brevin Jordan (Illness)
  • Right Guard Shaq Mason (Calf)
  • Cornerback Steven Nelson (Hand)
  • Wide Receiver John Metchie III (Illness)
  • Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil (Knee)
  • Safety Jimmie Ward (Concussion)

The Texans are set to be without three of their best players in quarterback C.J Stroud, linebacker Blake Cashman and defensive end Will Anderson Jr. Case Keenum is expected to remain the starter until Stroud returns.

The good news is that the players listed as questionable, are all expected to play on Sunday in a huge game that will have playoff implications.
