Thursday Night Football Open Thread: New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

And we thought those Bears games were gonna be rough watching.

NFL: Preseason-New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans
I don’t know what he’s saying here, but I know he’s wrong.

Hello, good evening, and welcome to Week 14 of the NFL season. Tonight, we have a prime time matchup...from 2007.

In decades past, this would be a must-watch game. But this year and this week, these teams are wretched and difficult to watch under the best of circumstances.

But at least there’ll be plenty of opportunities to mock Bill O’Brien for being bad at his job.

Since this is the game of the night, for reasons I can’t even begin to understand, we’ll get to watch him be bad at his job a LOT.

Speaking for me, personally, I’ll be watching because the New England Patriots being bad at football, correction, spectacularly bad at football, is still a welcome novelty for me.

On an unrelated note, the NFL used thousands of computers and those computers, and six NFL executives, thought this is the perfect game to put on primetime. I guess computers can troll, too.

Here’s how to watch tonight’s game.

Who: New England Patriots (2-10) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5)

What: Thursday Night Football

Where: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA

When: Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 7:15 p.m. CST

Why: Because now we get to laugh at Bill O’Brien’s offense instead of cry.

Channel: Amazon Prime

And here are my picks for tonight’s game, from DraftKings Sportsbook.
